Y'all were talking about setting up a slingbox at home and then recording shows that you could use in the classroom but was pretty sure the schools wouldn't allow you to install the software. You would think the school board or whoever is in charge of making those kinds of decisions would say "why don't we get cable (or satellite) here at the school, install our own slingbox and make the content available to all the teachers?" There are so many great educational shows that could be used in the classroom that it makes perfect sense. It might be something worth bringing up with your administration.
