*We have set up a del.icio.us bookmarks account to share with our listeners. As many of our listeners are teachers, this is a place where we can share helpful links with one another.
- To view the bookmarks, go to http://del.icio.us/tttshare
- To contribute to the bookmarks, go to http://del.icio.us/login and enter
Username: tttshare
Password: thetechteachers
This takes you to the “About” page. You can always bookmark a link by clicking on “post” at the top right of this page, but adding a bookmarklet (a link) to your browser will allow you to bookmark any page you are viewing, simply by clicking a button in your browser. There are very simple instructions for installing bookmarklets on this main page.
When you bookmark a link, you add tags in the account. Tags are one-word descriptors that you can assign to any bookmark. Tags can't contain quotation marks or white space, but are otherwise unrestricted. You can assign as many tags to a bookmark as you like. This is an interesting way of organizing all of the links, so that a link could appear in multiple categories.
