For Firefox extensions I recommend the following:
IE View - allows pages that dont work or that cant be viewed in Firefox to be redirected to open in IE
Play Launch - Allows Firefox users to play music videos on Yahoo.
Adblock - Blocks annoying ads and those annoying swf "click here to win a prize" things
Auto Copy - Automatically copies selected text to the clipboard. So one doesnt have to right click and select copy.

Just started listening to your podcasts last week and am enjoying both your tech and education topics. I like being able to follow along on blogger and look at the sites you are talking about as you talk! I will be sharing your blog and podcast with many technology coordinators in our districts. Keep up the good work and good luck with your first year of teaching!
